Design and production of a high profile PR stunt to promote the new Gala Bingo marketing campaign
Working in partnership with The Cultivators and Capture PR, we created a hot air balloon, tea room experience on London’s South Bank, to promote the 2022 Gala Bingo ATL campaign.
This experiential, consumer activation was designed to replicate the look and feel of the TV ad, featuring five branded hot air balloons, plus support the brand’s recent sponsorship of ITV’s The Chase.
In keeping with the very British tradition of tea and bingo, guests were invited to join Mark ‘The Beast” Labbett and Anne ‘The Governess” Hegerty for a cuppa and a game of bingo in one of our custom made hot air balloon dining baskets.
The 3-day sell-out event took place at Potter’s Fields Park overlooking London’s Thames River. Due to the exposed, outdoor, public location and use of large scale inflatables, the production required a serious focus on technical design, logistics and H&S management.
Following the affiliation with Gala Bingo’s sponsorship of the popular game show, The Chase, Mark and Anne joined lucky guests for a cup of tea, cake and a game of bingo, bringing people together with a redefined bingo experience, where a little joy goes a long way.
